The Dumbing Down of U.L.L.'s Black Students!

In spite of an ongoing blatant cultural assault on Black communities in Southwest Louisiana, most Black students at U.L.L. (University of Louisiana at Lafayette) both current and recent past, appears to be content with being passive self hating victims of Cajun mania. A disturbing number of Black students seem to have been made comfortable with accepting a cultural and historical standard of abnormality regarding self and kind. The Black students, especially the Black athletes, appear to have been dumbed down to the point in which they are totally unaware or have been mentally disengaged from the issue and feel immune to the realities of the damaging consequences of their malignant self-hating behavior.
Under the oppressive forces of Cultural terrorism, in the form of Cajun Mania, U.L.L. is manifesting Black cultural genocide, economic exploitation, mis- education, and historical distortion within Black communities in Southwest Louisiana. What is most frightening about this harsh but candid reality, is that college students often represent the more progressive thinkers, most skilled, and brightest of any given group. The systematic indoctrination of self-hatred of Black students by U.L.L.'s administration, under the guise of providing an education, give credence to my remark, in which I asserted, "The selfish and reckless promotion of Cajun/Acadian is a government funded modern day Nigger making process for Black people all over again".
Hence, historical records will verify that the above tactic is not new and has been frequently used by White people to disconnect US from US. Caucasians, successfully used this approach against Black people, when they kidnapped Black
Afrikans from the shore of Afrika in 1555. It is well documented in history, that over a period of time, Caucasians robbed our ancestors of the knowledge of self. After sixty four (64) years of during so, they produced the first group of Black people that began to refer to themselves as "Niggers" with a smile. Brutal White slave owners, not only produced and labeled Black people as Niggers to make clear their zero status in a White controlled society, but also to manage their slaves by retarding the development of the Black human being morally, educationally, spiritually, economically and culturally.
Today we still have an alarming number of Black people, especially among the youth, referring to themselves and their kind as Niggers. There are some adults among us who argue decisively against our young people for their use of the term! Ironically, with just as much passion, those same adults who engage in furious debates against the youth for using the slur word Nigger, often aggressively defend one or more of their given slave status as a Negro, Colored , Mulatto , Creole and now a Black Ragin Cajun.
I don't fully blame the Black U.L.L. students for their lack of knowledge of the cajun issue or their apathy in not responding appropriately, if they are aware. Their view of the world and how they respond to it; is predicated on what they have been taught to value by those whom they personally observed and who directly or indirectly, served as stewards over their upbringing. Although this may be true, that alone does not exempt them from accepting some responsibility for their own ability to think for themselves once they know better!
However, the major culprits in this instance, are the collective cowards of the Black community from my generation for the past 25 to 35 years, who masqueraded as political, civic, business, organizational and church leaders. Most U.L.L. college students range in ages from 18 to 23 years old like most other college students. What they perceive as their value system has been fashioned by the preceding generations. Most were influenced by multi generations that believed in the false concepts of integration, even if it killed them. Subsequently, If this is their point of reference, then it would appear natural for them to be passive, docile, domesticated NONE threatening Black students. The primary focus then shifts to acquiring a so-called education only to qualify for a good White man's job. Well needless to say, the seeds that were planted determined the harvest.
I chose to speak candidly on this issue, because I see no hope of emerging courage on the horizon coming out of my generation. The Black Defectors of my generation on this issue, made having a lack of courage and selling out their people into an acceptable artful science. They possess an attitude that is more glaringly recognized as the survival of the selfish at the expense of the unsuspecting masses. Their greed, ignorance of self, arrogance and fear of Caucasians people, has calcified their hearts against their own Black community.
Thus, the intentional dummying down of U.L.L. Black students regarding the historical relationship of the twin slur words Cajun and Nigger, is reflective of the byproduct of our zero status in a White racist controlled society advocating White Supremacy!
No educational degree is worth the paper it is written on if one must first ignore, sell out, or deny the truthful study of his/her history and culture to obtain it. To be educated is to obtain knowledge to empower the learner to do for self, family and community, while nurturing the full potential of the human being. Regardless, of the level of skills demonstrated or area of interest studied, for a Black students to obtain a degree under the precepts of Caucasian history and culture and not know his own; renders that student as a liability to his own people at best or an alien at worst, rather than a potential asset. That's not an education! That's being trained like an animal to do a job without the benefit of critical thinking and analysis in respect to, self, family and community.
"As a people we are not lacking in skills and abilities to do for self. We are lacking in the knowledge of self! Subsequently, the knowledge of self is the needed trigger to launch a wave of incentives or motives to established authority over our skills and abilities to do for self and kind."
Beloved Black students of U.L.L., stop mocking the importance of your annual Black history celebrations during the month of February. Take it seriously or leave it alone! You cannot honestly desire to acknowledge the truth of yourselves and be satisfied with being called a glorified Nigger under the label of Cajun every day by White people. How can you joyfully celebrate the value of your rich Black history at U.L.L. and ignore the inundation of the cesspool of lies, being represented by the University, which distorts your Black history and devalue you as a Black human being? The study and celebration of your history is suppose to be empowering. In this case, a proper study and acceptance of your Black history and culture would evolve you more into a mind like the Black Jesus (Yeshua) of your Bible. Jesus (Yeshua) made clear that he was present in this wicked world but he was not of this world. However, that did not prevent Jesus (Yeshua) from addressing the evilness in the world. In other words, you can be at U.L.L. as a serious academic student and not be a passive representative of the institutional lies and deceits against your people. You can and must stand up against the forces of oppression that encourages you not to embrace the true knowledge of yourself. You are not Cajun or Acadian and never could be. Those terms denotes a White people and a white historical experience. In fact, much of the truth of cajun history was not flattering and complimentarily even to Cajun people , until the barrage of propaganda spewed out though the selfish promotion of Cajun mania.
The terms, Nigger and Cajun once being equivalent slur words, is a historical fact not a political opinion! You make fools of yourselves by going under the banner "Home of the Ragin Cajuns"! White folks mock you but feel safe with you when they make you submit to self-hatred , insults and falsehood in the name of an athletic scholarship or their brand of mis- education.
The wickedly wise administration at U.L.L., who are predominantly Caucasians, know this to be a fundamental truth. They are fully aware of the fact, they are placing Black students in the position to model and represent their own cultural genocide to pursue an education at U.L.L.
That's the un-stated litmus test! Love it or leave it, is the pervasive attitude! Those Black students who are conscious will reject being called Cajun or Nigger and will drop out or transfer to another university. The Black students who remain are most likely, not aware of the issue or maybe aware but have limited options and feel they had to succumb to the pressures for the purpose of getting an education.
Also, in the name of a scholarship, Black athletes, both male and female are induced into self-mockery by having to parade themselves on the basketball court, football and track field , being identified as Ragin Cajuns. If U.L.L. Black Athletes are Ragin Cajuns then Black Birds are White Doves! Obviously, a Black U.L.L. student who is unaware of the Cajun mania or simply succumbs to it, is presumably a safe 'Negro' because he and/or she is not threatening to the system of White Supremacy. In addition, these students are unknowingly used as prime propaganda tools to falsely project to the public that the Black community is not opposed to the selfish and reckless proliferation of Cajun mania.
All Black parents with students at U.L.L. must ask the following question and demand a serious answer from within! How productive can our children be for themselves and their community, as a graduate from U.L.L., even with high scholastic achievements, who are brain dead to the knowledge of themselves and their kind and don't know it? How many Clarence Thomas's and Condolece Rice's we need to produce before we realizes the massive cumulative debilitating affect mis-education has had on our progress as a people for Black empowerment through self- determination? If Black parents of U.L.L. students in particularly, and the Black family in general, continue to keep Black children ignorant to the knowledge of themselves and their kind, when God decides to awaken them, they will turn on us with a venomous spirit!
Surely, college life is suppose to be about some fun. Mainly, it is a time to advance critical thinking by way of exploring new thoughts and ideas for the purpose of forging out a better reality. It is not intended to be a time or place to surrender to a mental grave yard which seek to foster subservient behaviors among a select group of students, as a prerequisite for the opportunity to acquire skills to get a so-called good job.
Let me take a moment to speak directly to the Black students at U.L.L. Be clear on this fact! U.L.L. is a public tax supported institution and you have the right to attend! I adamantly, support that right as well as I support the right of every Black employee who works there. Regardless, of whether you are there as a student, a member of the faculty or in some other capacity. Black students and employees should not have to act like scared to death mindless conditioned slaves on a modern day plantation, to stay in school or keep a job! Self imposed fear is sometimes worse than a public back lashing from a wicked oppressor. One who cries out for Freedom, Justice, and Equality must demonstrate the desire, intelligence and ability to think free, act free therefore is free! The alternative is to continue to perpetuate the status of another kind of slave, crying out from the abyss of unconsciousness, always looking and begging for someone else to do for you, what God has provided you the internal resolve to get up and do for self.
It is time to Rise Again Black Man , Woman ,and Child and reclaim our original Greatness!" Cajun It Just Ain't Us!
My dear beloved youthful Black Brothers and Sisters who are students at U.L.L. Know for sure that you are the direct descendants of the original people of the earth. You are descendants of the oldest human beings on the face of the earth, who are the Mothers and Fathers of the entire human family. If you are not thinking of creating a new reality and you are a Black U.L.L. student, then surely you must be contemplating on your present reality and how you fit in the scheme of things as a Black Cajun! The Black community is inundated with highly skilled Black people who are shining examples of self-hatred. In most cases, these manufactured Negroes, become aggressive enemies to the collective interest of Black people. Often, using all of their skills and talents trying to construct a white reality for acceptance. We must plant good seeds of thought, to produce intelligent and courageous generations of young men and women who will stand on righteous principles being fully aware that Freedom is not Free!. That's one of the major reasons I authored the book, " Black I am Cajun/Creole I am NOT!
Always be guided by these thoughts:
" The best of what a human being has to offer, is safe guarded in his or her righteous expressions of humanity! Not, in the bile of his or her economic, political or social aspirations! If you were Black and Afrikan yesterday! You are certainly Black and Afrikan today! Unless you do something unnatural to yourself - You will be Black and Afrikan Tomorrow! Learn to Love, Respect and Accept self and kind first!"
It is immoral and demonic for a tax supported public educational institution of higher learning, to knowing inflect psychological mental anguish on an entire Black community. Especially, given the adverse effects it has on the wise and elderly of the community who know, suffered and lived through the vile history of the two slur words, Cajun & Nigger. Not to mention, the innocent Black children who unknowingly are bombarded daily with a glorified image of their own mockery and cultural genocide .
The Black U.L.L. students and the collective Black communities in Southwest Louisiana have been made to feel helpless in addressing this issue, when in fact they are in a position of strength. If you doubt what I am saying, then go to the 'Call To Action' section of the blog age entitled " Boycott ULL and truly commit to catching the Uncajun Spirit! Then advocate to others to do so and watch the magic unfold! Note, if the collective Black communities in Southwest Louisiana and progressive thinking U.L.L. students, especially the Black athletes, would just gravitate around items A, B, F, M,N & O on the Call To Action page, Cajun Mania would be in a tail spin in 72 hours.
Hence, the real question is not whether the Black community has the power to change the present reality! The premium question is, whether the surrounding Black communities located in parishes throughout Southwest Louisiana, can collectively demonstrate the Courage and Intelligence to act on their powers. There is no doubt in my mind, "Cajun Mania" is an aggressive form of Colonialism, Cultural Terrorism advocating Cultural Piracy, Institutional Racism and White Nationalism. The ultimate aim is to achieve and maintain political and economic dominance, while simultaneously keeping intact a system of White Supremacy. This is necessary to sooth Caucasian's obsessive fears of White genetic annihilation.
